Product/Service Listing

In conjunction with our efforts to establish and apply common product and service code systems (see http://www.bdex.com)we have established a "test" system to allow us to test software and user interfaces. We are using this system to store information vendors of services and products of interest to us. These are gathered from mailing lists, conversations, magazines and a number of other sources. The ultimate goal is that every product or service would have a unique code (one way to think of it is UPC for a product or service). Search engines, catalogs, directories and other yet-to-be developed systems could use those code to identify relevant pages and information.
